Brooksville, FL (PRWEB) January 29, 2013

Micro Matic, the leading manufacturer in beverage dispensing technology, is proud to announce that the Pro-Line Wine Dual-Temperature Dispensing system (MDD23W-E) has been selected for the Whats Hot! Whats Cool! product gallery at the NAFEM 2013 trade show.

The Pro-Line Wine dispensing system was developed in close partnership with winemakers to ensure optimum functionality and quality. The wine on tap units are designed specifically for keg wine to maximize the yield of a keg while also ensuring that consistent wine quality is delivered in every glass.

The Micro Matic dual temperature zone wine kegerator has been a real game changer in the premium wine by the glass category. It allows me to offer my guests a wider selection of premium wines on tap, without worrying about cork or oxidation problems, spoilage or waste, said Jeff Barba, Director of Food and Beverage at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Each year, the NAFEM trade show presents Whats Hot! Whats Cool! to highlight the years innovative products in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry. The selected products must feature forward-thinking innovations and show tangible improvements to foodservice operations.

Products must fulfill at least two of the four criteria to be selected for the product gallery: aesthetic impact, cost reduction, new foodservice application, and other additional benefits (environmental impact or technological advances).

Innovative Tap Solutions Develop Self-serve Beer Walls to Meet Rising Consumer Demand for Craft Beer

Baltimore MD (PRWEB) February 23, 2013

A beer wall? What is that, you ask? A Maryland-based company called Innovative Tap Solutions has designed a mobile beer wall so that customers can self-serve beer and sample as much (up to a two pint limit) or as little (their system measures beer to three decimal places of an ounce!) as they would like. With ever increasing consumer appetites for new flavors, bars are struggling to keep up with a finite amount of taps behind the bar. Enter the beer wall...

We are trying to match our product offerings to what the consumer demand is currently for beer says Josh Goodman, the company CEO. I was personally tired of waiting in line for a beer in busy places and when we saw the natural consumer shift toward craft beer we felt it was time we designed a unit that met those consumer trends proactively. The results have been very positive.

Patrons enter the bar and once their drivers license has been swiped at a control terminal it creates a unique identifier for them. They are given a wristband that has an RFID chip built-in and that tracks their consumption allowing them up to two beers as a limit. Once they hit their limit a staff member has to assess their ability to be re-served and if deemed OK they are re-upped for two more. They pay at the end for what they have used or they can pre-pay if they want to do it that way.

The software also allows customers to reserve a beer online, continued Goodman. There are some pretty unique and rare craft beers out there now that people want to get their hands on fast when they show up in their local pub. With our system they can reserve what they want online and those reserved beers are unavailable to others that are just in the pub organically. Its a real traffic driver for bars and restaurants now.

The mobile beer wall that has eight taps for maximum customer choice. Adding eight taps in a bar setting in the same old way is not an easy proposition from a cost or construction perspective, not to mention the business disruption it would cause, for an existing restaurant, said Declan Duggan, Goodmans partner. So we made a mobile beer wall that the owner can use to store and refrigerate kegs in and, at the same time, have their customers dispense their own beer samples or full glasses. Its plug-and-play really and customers love it.

http://www.pourmybeer.com is an Innovative Tap Solutions Company. The company was formed in MD in 2008 and made the first commercial mobile self-serve beer tables in the US. It also sells and distributes fixed beer walls, mobile beer walls, fixed draft tables and mobile draft self-serve tables. All mobile equipment is made in the USA. Used ATMs From TestLink Create Innovative Payroll Solution

Poole, Dorset (PRWEB) October 7, 2009

Used ATMs from TestLink are being employed to create an innovative payroll solution across the Middle East.

Workers Equity Holding (WEH) in Dubai has purchased 20 NCR 5684 ATMs from TestLink to expand its own private ATM network as a means of paying migrant workforces.

WEH has bought used ATMs remanufactured to 'as new' condition by TestLink to dispense wages and payslips to migrant workers without bank accounts.

Independent ATM remanufacturer TestLink is also providing high quality refurbished ATM parts and ongoing support to WEH and its ATM engineers.

WEH has pioneered the means to "change the entire payroll processing system for employers" - giving their workers "an opportunity to utilise the latest technologies" and gain ready access to their wages 24 hours a day.

It means that migrant workers without bank accounts can access their wages in safe and convenient amounts from refurbished ATMs installed at their places of employment.

As soon as each worker inserts their cash card into a TestLink ATM, it automatically displays the dispensing options in their pre-selected language.

Companies can then track all the various wages withdrawals through WEH's secure web portal.

The ATM-based solution has a host of cost-cutting and timesaving benefits for WEH client companies and their migrant workers:
