Review : Great TV and Great Picture (After Changing Settings)
The default settings for this TV sucked. They put the sharpness really high and at first at just thought that was the way the TV was. I changed the settings, lowering the sharpness mainly and then the TV looked awesome. I would definitely agree that the price was just a tad bit high but that is mainly due to the company that makes it. LG is actually very reliable for TVs.

Overall the TV is great.

Review : Good Vacation TV/Laptop Monitor
I bought this TV to be used as a travel TV for those hotels that still have non-CC units even after all these years. It is very light (8 lbs) and easily fits into the recessed part of my car trunk. First of all I don't understand at all the previous reviewer stating it took multiple people to install the base. I am a 150 lb senior citizen and it snapped together quite easily for me. Maybe the other reviewer was assembly challenged :-)
This is my second Vizio. It is top quality and has a great picture. Since I am deaf I can't say anything about the sound.
I will also be using it as a computer monitor for my Apple laptop. Haven't tried that yet as I haven't received the VGA cable yet (coming tomorrow).

I brought this TV as a monitor for my computer.

I like that the speakers are built in and if you have hdmi on your computers video card it reduces the need for an additional soundcard and audio cable.

My only complaint is that there is a pc/dvi mode for the hdmi ports that makes the pc image look really clear and it was difficult to find it existed at all. For the first week of use the text was very blurry on the monitor and it was only through reading on message boards that I found this option needed to be changed. It is not an obvious option as I had been through the whole menu on the TV many times. Once this option is set Windows looks great at 1080p.

I also have xbox 360 hooked up to the second hdmi port and that looks great as well.

Overall this is a very nice TV or monitor for 250 bucks if you are going to be sitting pretty close to it when using it.
